Antonio Faillaci graduated at the Conservatoire de Genève in 2004 under Jean François Michel and later in 2005, studied in New York by prof. Vincent Penzarella. In 2010 he got a “Master of Music” at the Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe under prof. Reinhold Friedrich and prof. Edward H. Tarr (baroque trumpet). He had masterclasses with Maurice André, Stephen Burns, Jeroen Berwaerts, Hannes Laubin, David Bilger and Roger Bobo.

Since 2006 has particular interest in baroque and classical repertoire also performing with period instruments. He played as a member of many orchestras, chamber music and soloist performing in prestigious concert halls all over Europe, Russia, USA and Asia. He is regularly invited for performances mainly of the Baroque repertoire, such as J. S. Bach's Brandenburg Concerto No. 2.
Since 2010 he plays with Camerata Bern participating in concerts and recordings with artists such as Patricia Kopatchinskaja, Antje Weithaas, and Erich Höbarth, and since 2013 he is part of the Spiramirabilis project.

He is regularly invited as a member with Orchestra Mozart, Orchestra Leonore, Orchestra del Teatro alla Scala, Orchestra da Camera di Mantova, Orchestra Haydn di Bolzano, Orchestra Sinfonica di Milano, under such conductors as Claudio Abbado, Bernard Haitink, Daniele Gatti, Jaap van Zweden, René Jacobs, Riccardo Chailly, Christoph Eschenbach, Christopher Hogwood, P. Maxwell Davies, Christoph von Dohnányi, Semyon Bychkov, Ivàn Fischer, Michael Tilson Thomas and others.

He has taken part in numerous classical and early music festivals with recordings and productions for Deutsche Grammophon, NDR Kultur, Deutschland Radio, RSI, RAI, Radio Swiss Classic, Hänssler Classic, Classic FM, SRF2, France Musique, Perfect Noise.

He is currently a trumpet professor at the Conservatory of Novara, Italy.
